PS4 Stutters on 144hz Monitor

Hello Guys,

so I got immense stutter if I connect my PS4 with my Main Monitor.



Main Monitor:

BenQ XL2411z 144hz 1ms



I tested my Second Monitor which is a:

BenQ GL2450HM Monitor 2ms



where everything works fine and nothing stutters.

I used the same HDMI cable to connect the PS4 on both Monitors.

Any help is appreciated!

It probably has something to do with your main monitor running at 144hz. Is there a setting in the monitors menu that will let you change the refresh rate to 60hz?

Sadly nothing to be found in the settings of the Monitor itself. My Monitor shows me that the Current Resolution from the PS4 is 1080p@60 and the optimal would be 1920x1080@60 if that gives any info. The only thing I could tinker with is the BenQ Service Page where I can change the strobe settings.

HDMI can't do 144hz.
And the stutter is probably because the monitor is running at 144hz, but the signal is at 60.
