Hi, this is my current build:

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/baribarigood/saved/3MzcMp

Just built a new system and only when I turn off my psu, I hear a slight static/“crunch” sound as the switch flips. Is this normal or should i return it immediately? I tried to buy a reputable psu, maybe i got unlucky? If i need to return, should i consider a different psu brand or is a replacement fine?

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

If you slowly turn the rocker, then there's a chance you're hearing the crunch from it;
You might want to turn the rocker switch quickly.

Your build is fine, IMHO.

Makes sense. I was turning it pretty slow to be careful. Thanks!

Why didn't you buy an ATX3.0 PSU?

The RAM is optimized for Intel. Does it run well @ 6000MT/s with XMP enabled?
sorry new builder here. not sure what the differences in psu’s are. i just know bronze, gold, plat, etc.

ram was bad. i returned it and bought g.skill trident from the qvl list which is working great with expo now.
