I have a Dell Inspiron 3668 Computer with these specs,

240W Dell PSU
16GB DDR4 Ram
i7 7700 CPU
GT 730 GPU
Unknown Motherboard built for 3668
2TB Hard Drive (I think SATA)

I would like to know if a 1050 of any kind would work on this PSU. If it loads, I can underclock it with afterburner, and care about it working not overclocking or anything. If it will not be compatible with the Motherboard, please tell me which PSU will be compatible with this motherboard, here is the link of what the board looks like. http://tinypic.com/r/rh3air/9

Thank You for your support. :)

Thank you, so the PSU will work with a gtx 1050 2gb version. :) I'm just scared the PSU will blow up and kill the i7 7700. I appreciate it. If it is compatible does it mean it will work safely?

Dell doesn't mention anything about different PSUs being used with different configurations, so we have to assume the same type PSU being used regardless choosen graphics card. Also Dell can't afford countless claims for busted PSUs.
You have to make sure to use the same model they use, to make sure it fits. Again Dells webpage is the place to check.

I found this after contacting dell

1MPR3 AMD R9-360, PCIe, 2GB, DVI-I/Display Port/HDMI
24K8H Nvidia GTX 1050, PCIe, 2GB, DVI-D DL/Display Port 1.3 (1.4 Ready)/HDMI 2.0, 75w
8MXMJ Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 TI, PCIe, 2GB, DVI-I/DVI-D/MiniHDMI
J27RG Nvidia GT730, PCIe, 2GB, VGA/DVI-D/HDMI, 30w
8CCF1 Nvidia GT1030, 2GB, DVI-D SL/HDMI, 30w

These are the only GPU that are tested. The 1050 from EVGA also has a 75W limit so will it work?

I'm quite sure it will physically fit in the system. I mean as long as it is one fan. The GT 730 right now is one fan and it fits a bit to tiny. It has extra space so I think the gtx 1050 will work fine inside physically.

Height 352.90 mm (13.90 in)
Width 154 mm (6.06 in)
Depth 303 mm (11.93 in)
These are the dimensions of the 3668 and the dimensions of the card are

Depth 5.7 in
Height 4.4 in

Do you think this will work?
