My computer shuts down randomly after 5-10 minutes and my PSU makes a noise like it is arching on start-up (Sounds like a popping/ shocking noise like light bulbs make when you turn them on slowly) Then it will not start for like 30 seconds (even if I unplug/replug the AC cord/flip switches/hit the power button) then it turns on randomly when I flip the switch on the PSU after waiting awhile. I have tried 4 AC power cords, checked connections inside my computer, and tried plugging it directly into the wall outlet, but it still shuts down. I've used the same Corsair 650W Power Supply for 2 years now with no problems until now. I even took the Mobo apart and looked under for anything that may cause a short. I wish It would stop shutting down on me. I'm about to just RMA it, although I'm sure they will just send it back telling me nothing is wrong and there is nothing they can do...

Only had it for 2 years, oh well at least it didn't crap out after the warranty was up or ruin any other parts. I guess a component in the PSU is going out. But I can use it for 5-10 minutes then it makes a pop and shuts down. Another weird thing is there are green marks where the cords come out the back of the PSU on the computer case almost like burns, but is green and not black, sort of like moss on a tree or something. Seemed a bit odd.
