[SOLVED] PSU blew, can i test the gpu in a friend’s pc?

I was using an Aorus 1070 gaming box when a power surge happened. When power came back on, i turned on my laptop and immediately after that the gaming box psu blew. I decided to open it up and extract the GPU and now i am wondering if i could use it on a friend’s pc to check if it is working or not so i can sell it. The thing is i am afraid it might damage his system.

I think you can check the Aorus 1070 gaming box on another pc but it wont hurt your friends comp because it would tell you if its working or not
