I recently bought a new power supply (corsair CX750) and graphics card and everything was running smoothly but a week later my parents spilt water over the hob causing the power to be cut in the house, and as my computer turned off I heard a bang and smelt smoke so I'm assuming its the PSU, I have not replaced the PSU yet and was wondering if anything else could have been damaged

Solution
Probably it is just the psu. You could do the paper clip trick to see if it power at all. If it is not send it back and go from there. It is possible that something else died (although rare) but you will know with a new or a secondary power supply.
