I have a nexus r3-6300 630w power supply and with to buy a gigabyte gtx 780 graphics card. My problem is that the PSU has 1x6+2 pin cable(not modular) and one 6 pin cable (modular) with the possibility to plug in another 6 pin cable(if i could only find one to buy). Can i use an adapter to get another 8 pin cable?
My specs are i7 4770, gigabyte h87-d3h, 8gb corsair and the power supply is reviewed here http://www.techwarelabs.com/nexus-rx-6300/

Either one is enough for the gtx780, if the Seasonic fits your budget, it is a better choice.

i have the following options http://www.mediadot.ro/placi-video/filtre/model-780/ (it's in romanian, the currency is leu and 1 euro=4.4 leu or 1dollar=3.4 leu)
so a gtx 780 is about 500 euros and up, with the gigabyte version being the cheaper one

these are my options http://www.mediadot.ro/surse/ where
producator - manufacturer
putere - power
certificare eficienta - efficiency
racire - cooling
sursa modulara da - modular PSU
sursa modulara nu - not modular
tip - atx version

What do you suggest?

L.E. @Vic 40 i don't know about asus... i had an asus gtx 9800+ and a very bad experience and than changed it to a gigabyte gtx 260 super oc which i currently own and never looked back :)

i know this is a lot but could you please take a look at this website http://www.mediadot.ro/surse/ and help me find a PSU suited for my rig :peur:
as you open the page you will find the following:
FILTRE = means filter search by
Producator = manufacturer
Putere(W) = power(W)
Certificare eficienta = efficiency 80 and options
Racire = cooling - only one option that is active
Sursa modulara = should the PSU be modular or not (Da-Yes Nu-No)
Tip = Atx version i guess

L.E. nevermind...
