Psu cable installation

Hi, please, if I want to connect cable like cpu or pcie. There's a side for psu and another for hardware but if I do the opposite thing. Somebody told me no problem if I have equal voltage on both sides of the cable.

Dont listen to what somebody told you the PSU end goes to the PSU the other to the hardware.
