[SOLVED] PSU cable question?

They all seem to have fixed plugs with the bend protection.
I have passed all my cables neatly through a hole in the cupboard and it looks great except for the power cable.
It's way too fat at the 3 pin psu end and at the wall outlet end the plug is fixed.
I cant find any of these cables (we call them kettle leads in uk) with a removable plug.
I could easily chop it off and fit a suitable plug with correct fuse.
Then I could pass the cable through the hole and fit the plug at the other end.
Any ideas?
