PSU Cables - Custom colours and cable management.

So after receiving some helpful information about a build I am planning, I have concluded the parts I intend to use. For inspiration I've been browsing some completed builds on the forum and have noticed a lot of colour coded wiring in tidy sleeves from the psu to the intended parts. These looks amazing and I would love to do this myself, instead of using the boring cables that come with the PSU.

Ideally I would like some Red and Black cables for this build, the only problem is. Due to my lack of knowledge I'm not entirely sure how many and what types of cables to get for this build:

I would love to have matching SATA and any other cables as well.

If somebody could give me a list of the cables, their quantity and type I would be extremely grateful.

Some PSUs with fully modular cables may have options to get cables in different colors but most of the time, people with "custom cable colors" are simply re-sleeving their cables with whatever color they want.

Using extension and hiding the original wiring is another way to do it when you can hide the original wiring somewhere... such as in your inspiration case's case where it is a double-width monster with the PSU stowed away behind the motherboard.
