I found a huge bunch of these so called PSU callculation websites! They all recommend me a minimum of ''328'' watt psu!

On the other hand, on all other sites the recommended psu for the MSI R7 260 oc 1gb ddr5 is at least 450w!

Can i trust these websites, or is it just another hoax of sorts? Thanks for your time!

no additional fans besides those on the cpu and gpu

The sites you're viewing your graphics card from shows what capacity PSU you should be using if you want to run this graphics card along with your other parts like processor, dvd drive etc.
Get the Antec VP450 PSU for those specs.

That means the psu calculation sites are a fraud, since they claim that a 350w psu is enough to safely operate my sys specs?

This site is considered the most reliable in calculating power requirements. It assumes maximum power consumption for all components I believe.

Other sites with power supply requirement calculators may also be based on maximum power consumption but their calculators may not be as accurate as the above site. They are not necessarily "fraudulent" (intentionally).

Using the above website with the supplied computer specifications, it calculates power requirement to be around 190W. A PSU rated at around 350W would be recommended to allow for PSU degradation due to aging and to allow for minor upgrades.

That would be great since i alredy have a 350w psu, hope i dont need to buy a new one! Thanks mate!
