Recently my PC has been turning it self of really randomly at such weird times, It wont turn then reboot it just turns itself of and I have to physically hit the power button on the front of the case to turn it back on. Firstly it was during games, and recently it did happen once when I had a word document open and when i was browsing the internet. I have noticed a rattling sound coming from the PSU every so often also, it comes and goes which is odd. a list of my config is below, CPU and GPU are baseline with no OC'ing in place. To add to that the PSU was purchased 26 Dec 2014 and has very extensive use from then till now as this is my Work PC ( I work from home) and my social rig (games etc) This PC can be on for around 8 hours per day on average.

EDIT: Forgot something which may be important. When I turn the PC back on after it shut down by itself, the Corsair logo on the H100i cooler goes from white to a purple/pink LED colour which is odd, not sure if related.

.MSI GeForce GTX 980
.Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO
.Intel Core i7-4790K
.Corsair Hydro Series H100i
.Corsair Dominator Platinum 8.00 GB RAM
.Corsair CS750M
.Corsair 760T
. x1 1TB HDD WD
. x1 Samsung Evo 500GB SSD

The specs list is a little outdated actually my bad, I have not had my 4790k overclocked in a long time. GPU full loads sits around 79c and CPU sits around 40c. the PSU is currently making a subtle rattling noise right now.
