[SOLVED] PSU connector

So I am looking at this power supply

I have a MSI 2070 Ventus 8gb i need to power which has a 8 pin + 6 pin . My question is which way can i plug in the 6 pin? Do i need to get a 8 pin to 6+2 pin connector or can i use the 6 pin sata socket? It may be a stupid question but i was curious to know which way is best.

Use one 6+2 pin PCIe connector to populate the 8 pin. Split apart the other 6+2 pin and put the 6 pin into the GPU.

No, why would you? Your PSU has 4 PCIE 6+2 pin connectors.

You just need to make sure you have the modular cables for PCIe plugged in. These came with your PSU.

Use one complete 6+2 pin and split one down into a 6 pin. Boom, all of the connectors you need.
