I recently bought a PSU to replace a fried one.
After installing it worked until I moved the pc itself. I tried everything I could and still had no idea why moving it caused it to have no power. After some troubleshooting of his own my boyfriend discovered that it won't work unless the PSU cord isn't in fully. It has to sit about halfway in then and only then will the oc power up.
Another strange issue is once the oc goes to sleep or is shut down you have to reconfigure the cord even if it wasn't moved to get the pc back on.
Any insight as to why the cord/psu doesn't work if it is plugged in fully?
