PSU Dell Inspiron 660s

Hello,
My mother recently purchased the inspiron 660s for me for christmas. I am somewhat literate with computers (my major in school is programming and ive taken apart and rebuilt two laptops). The graphics card with the 660s is dells integrated 2000. now i know that i can not use this for a gaming pc and that this system requires a low profile. I am currently looking at a radeon hd 7750 but im aware i would need to increase the power supply from 220 to atleast a 350...

My question is, does anyone know the dimensions of the psu in this system or what power sources i could look at that would be compatible. If their are none i can easily get a new case and gut the 660 into the new case. I would rather not though because i like the design of the new 660s. help would be awesome and greatly appreciated. i was really hoping i could use this system to hold me over till i build my own gaming rig

ps.. this is one of the psu i was looking at but i dont know if it will work because i dont know the dimensions of the 660s' psu

Well since its not Christmas yet why not have her return it and get something you can actually use?

She already bought it and I am limited to a $400 spending limit. I am not trying to get anything high end anyways because like I said I plan on building my own within the year. This is holding me over because i blew my motherboard in a 6 year old inspiron e1505 and it is pointless to replace the mobo

Also, I was raised to be "grateful" for what I get and not complain because then I will not get anything. I am 23 and not trying to complain about gifts when i don't need to be receiving any at all.

Yes I can understand being grateful but is really ok for her to waste $400 and you another hundred plus trying to turn this into something that can game despite its crappy cooling? all until you can build another one?

What I'm saying is be nice and say "TY mom but can we exchange this for one that has a regular size case and simular price?"

if not you'll have to wait and measure the PSU yourself. I cant find any info on it beyond its 220w (and all the replacements I've found are 220w's and for the 660s only.)

I understand what your saying. Please don't take my last responses as anger or ungratefulness as a response.. that was not my intention.

My thing is yes I want a gaming rig but I would rather build one myself because I would like the experience and the pride in building my own machine. Right now the whole point of this computer was something i could use for school to program with. my mother doesn't believe in the whole gaming on a computer and says that isnt the reason i am buying this for you. she is more of a practicle person i guess. I knew what i was getting into when I was looking at this computer. I was just curious of the possibility of switching out the psu to do what i wanted with a higher card. The only reason i shopped from dell was because my mother was only willing to spend 200 on this and she had a dell egift card worth 235. if it was up to me i would of bought a computer off of newegg

All i was really looking to do with the 660s gaming wise was run mmos like wow or dcuo at a medium setting. i know i can upgrade to a low profile video card, like the nividia gt 620 and it can be decent at best.
