Is evga 500w PSU enough for gtx 1080

Most likely, but it depends. Which 500w model is it? EVGA make different quality PSUs depending on price. If you have a 500B, or worse, a 80 plus rated (not bronze, sliver gold) 500w, then the quality is lower. The other factor is your CPU, if you have a modern Intel or AMD Ryzen, then you should be fine. If you have an older AMD 8 core, then you would want a 600w PSU.
