Hi im using Corsair RM650. Is it enough for rtx 3080?
My specs are:
I7 4790k (not ocerclocked)
4x4gb RAM
Asrock z97 extreme4
Phanteks PH-TC14PE cooling
Pioneer blu ray
Inwin GRone case
Ive read somewhere that it might be enough and when i do the math it seems like it may be true. Thanks for your replies

Depends on how old that PSU is. Normally I would say that's a solid unit, but if it's as old as your 4790K is (which would place your system about 2014 - 2015) that would need a replacement to be able to power the new RTX 3XXX series. The reason being is that PSUs do have a limited lifespan and should be replaced every 4 - 5 years or so because the capacitors wear out over time and over a certain number of power cycles.

And I do say this because I recently had to replace a 7 year old Seasonic X with a new Corsair RM750X so even the best PSUs ultimately need to be replaced over time.
