I've been useing a 1000W powersupply which has worked great, but its "already" dead after 2 years of use, by dead I mean the fan in it isnt running anymore, so if the computer is on then after a few minutes you can already smell the rubber. The PC wont start at times either and not spending time on it anymore due to this.

I hate spending money on stuff that dont work, so I'm looking for a new PSU for my Fractal Design R4 which would work, preferably 1000W again, but the problem is that I've experienced ordering a PSU which cables wasnt long enough to reach destinations in the PC given that the PSU is in the bottom of the case, my current 1000W PSU can barrely do it, the motherboard power cable has to go up through the PC instead of through the back, since noone who sells PSU is kind enough to say how long the cables are then I'm asking in here for advice.

I dont mind if its a silent PSU but dont take it as a requirement what so ever, I just want one that works and stays as cold as possible.

Seasonic, Corsair, EVGA, XFX make some pretty good psu. But i prefer Seasonic because all of their psu are really good.
And most new psu will fit the R4 case. For the wattage you need to tell me your specs.

Don't buy cheap. Even if a cheap one works for you and it does not get fire, a bad unit will decrease the lifetime of ALL components like graphics card and cpu in your build. I recommend something from Season or Super Flower, alternatively the G2 (or P2) line of EVGA. And with such a high wattage, its recommended to get an efficient one, which will use less power to generate the 1000 W constantly; look for Platinum, at least Gold rated units. Here a list

I dont have the bill anymore, so yes its out of warranty, also I tested the fan so I kinda had to break the tape, I tried to manually connect the PSU fan to a working connector but the fan is dead for good, another option would ofcause be getting a new fan but the fan connector in the PSU is a smaller one than usual, the fans I usually see has 3 pins or 3 pinholes the PSU one only had 2 wouldnt be able to fit a 3 pin into the tiny space there is on the PSU.

But I can also see its only a bronze certified PSU.
(The current PSU is Antec TruePower Quattro 1000W)

I like the sound of this one. Think I might go for it, also I noticed on amazon they say the actual length of the cables.

e; I went for this one, it fit well however I didnt quite like the motherboard power cable, I'm guessing it will hold but splitting a motherboard cable like that is pretty stupid, it could barrely click in. ^^ But other then that its quiet which is a good benefit.

Newegg currently has the EVGA SuperNOVA 220-P2-0650-X1 Platinum 650W for $70 after rebate with promo code EMCAXNK26 if that's enough power for you. Hopefully, the promo code is still active.

EVGA currently has rebates on many of their gold and platinum power supplies this month at Newegg.

Appreciate the info, however Newegg isnt a very good company, they arent international or atleast not fully. So basicly saying, newegg doesnt sent their stuff to my country.
