Hello, I need a PSU for Ryzen 7 1700x, 2x8GB Ram, Sapphire RX580 pulse and 128gb ssd if that matters(going to add up to 3 hdds later though). I have Seasonic SS-500ET-T3 here powering this RX580 and i7 3770 but I guess it wouldnt be even worth trying with ryzen?

I dont have a big budget so something below 80€ would be nice if possible. I tried psu calculator on outervision and it recommended EVGA 650W BQ 80 PLUS Bronze for 71€ which is nice but Im open to other suggestions.
Thanks.

Im running a 580 pulse & a ryzen 1700 on a cirsair cx550m.

I would ,because €80 should be a fine, budget , go for a 650w model if at all possible, for the extra headroom.

The evga bq however is poor quality , what country are you in ?

Well I kinda want to try my 500W seasonic first. The only thing that could happen is shutting down under heavy load right? This would be a good indication to buy new PSU.

What about SSP-650RT? Is it too much for my situation or is there some cheaper solution?

That seasonic isnt enough for a rx580 full stop.

Its more akin to a 400w unit than a 500w.12v rail of 408w on a very old group regulated platform is too close for comfort imo.

The 580 pulse can pull upwards of 200w, a 100w cpu & 60w for everything else & you're within 40w of its max capacity under a heavy gaming load.

I would reolace it with something over 500w & a more modern dc-dc regulated platform

The ssp 650 would be a decent choice, €80 should however give you much more options that that patticular model.

There are many options but I dont know which would be better than this. I always had seasonic so I searched for 650W seasonic and found SSP-650RT. It has the cables I need and psu calc says 650W is fine. But lets say I would add another 16GBs of ram and GTX 1080ti in future would that be a problem for this PSU?
