PSU for sapphire toxic r9 270x

can anyone recommend a not so expensive psu for toxic r9 270x,i was using corsair vs 650w,but after 2 days of usage,the psu is not working and i'm suspecting the gpu ruined it

The VS650w has enough power to handle a 270x, it's just not a very good PSU though.

Any 450w+ power supply from a reputable brand (Seasonic, Antec, XFX) would have the required power. What country are you in?

The VS650w has enough power to handle a 270x, it's just not a very good PSU though.

You will see that the Corsair VS series is Tier 3 - ok, but not great. Try to find a PSU from tier one or tier two if you can

thanks man,i think i'll go with corsair RM 550,thats what i'm getting here,just one thing,my system shuts down like it happens in power outage,no shutting down message,simply blacks out after using it for 4-5 mn,so it has to be the psu right?

That sounds more like a temperature issue to be honest. It could be the PSU but if it was the PSU it's more likely just wouldn't turn on.

Check your temperatures, check for dust, and check your case fans are plugged in and spinning.

temp and fans are ok but dust? dust can also cause it?,cause i dont use a case

Dust buildup reduces airflow inside a case and causes temperatures to rise. If you don't use a case then this isn't an issue - I assume you're cooling it with a fan?

Hey bro !! i am also from india and mee too have corsair vs 650 w and r9 270x graphic card and suddenly a short circuit occurs and pc turned off quickly and now it wont start , your and my problem are same as well as power supply issue , i think corsair vs 650 is not good for r9 270x tp handle , and have you got your solutions ??
