Hi, I got a problem and I think it is caused by PSU

When I turn on my PC for the first time in a day, it works completely fine, but when i shut it down and turn it on again it shows a bios error screen (Unknown BIOS Error. Error Code = FC00 Press F1 to Resume). So i press F1 and Windows logo shows but it suddenly stop booting and it went to Windows Error Recovery and same things happens when I choose Safe Mode.

So i wait about 10 mins and turn my PC on again and it boots up, but it can't recognize any external USBs (except the mouse and keyboard).

So I shut it down again and wait about an hour or two, then turn it on, and it works perfectly fine again.

I notice that my PC wants to rest a little bit after shutting it down. Is it a PSU problem?

System Specifications

  • PSU: RISE 500w generic
  • MOBO: MSI MS-7592 v5.2
  • CPU: Intel Core 2 duo 1.8ghz
  • RAM: Kingston 1066hz DDR3 2gbx2
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT
  • HDD: Seagate 500gb 3'5 7200rpm

Its from computer shop, sold to us on 2017 and I think its 6 years old. I use it for online class and GTA 4

Sorry for my bad english

its 6 years old
14 years old. C2D E4300 and 8600 GT saw the light in 2007.

When I take a look at the PSU named 'Rise 500w' I see a piece of garbage that can provide 20A @12v. My guess is that the PSU is dead and maybe the rest of the system too.

The problem only occured after i cleaned up my pc including the inside of PSU. I can restart it multiple times back then

The GPU i bought it online last month, its second-hand, cause I can't afford better GPU

I turned my pc on again today and works fine again
