Hi,
I'm not the most aware person for pc components so forgive me if this question is bit basic.

I'm looking to buy a new (quieter!) PSU for my PC, but the one I currently have doesn't not display its power in watts (which it what I assume I need to know), so I'm at a loss as to what to look for. The model number displayed on the case is 'TR-250 P4', but googling that doesn't bring up much.

If anyone can provide some advice, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks

my pc specs, if they help:

AMD Phenom(tm) II X3 710 Processor, 2600 MHz
RAM 2047 MB (DDR2)
500GB hard
SONY BD-ROM BDU-X10S ATA Device
22" monitor

Not really considering budget right now, I just need to establish what I need and I'll take it from there.

Thanks a lot for the advice.

Very few do,better off getting a Killawatt meter if you want to know your power draw.
If you're looking for a psu reccomendation your video card info is more important that knowing that you have a 22" monitor.
As it stands a 300 watt psu would be fine for your specs.
