Question PSU Help

Hi, is it dangerous to washing pc psu with water ? it is very dusty and cant clean with air sprey. so i decided to wash it with water, thanks for replies

Wash how ... ? Rinse and repeat or just cloth -> outside ...

So water went inside and everywhere,think i would just get a new psu.

if you put it in water i would not use it there a risk of short from water in and could blow out and take some parts of system with it electrical parts never goes in water .

Now you can throw that one away and buy a new one.
Ask first then clean.

The only way I would feel comfortable powering that system on again would be to completely disassemble it, throw the PSU in the bin, and let the other parts dry for several days. Water will rest in spots where it might not leave easily on its own without disassembly, such as between the motherboard and motherboard tray.

thanks for all answers , but i ve done this before on other psu and it works flawless without problems, but i waited 2 or 3 months for dry completely.

You can only hope the water leaves no traces.

because im not find any good way to clean dust from psu. air spray doesnt work well and other ways

Air duster/compressed air and a brush is all you need.

i put it on radiator , hot radiator dry it well
