PSU Install Help

I'm installing the PSU into my Phanteks Enthoo Pro case and on the case there is only one rubber grommet on one of the corner resting areas where the PSU should sit. It causes the PSU to rest unevenly and doesn't allow it to screw into place. Can I remove the grommet and allow the PSU to sit on the bare metal of the case?

This is my first time building a PC. Please help. Thanks.

Sure, it might rattle or buzz though due to vibration.

Should be fine to let it rest on the bare metal. The casing in the psu its self is ok to touch even when it is running, so ya. I discharge my self when working on pcs by touching the psu.

FYI the only reason you can discharge to the case is because you have the 3 prong power cable plugged into the wall.
The Third round prong is the ground.

Thanks for the help. I actually just moved another grommet that was randomly on part of the case and put it on the opposite corner of the PSU.
