Hi I just recently put together my first Desktop PC. Here's my PC parts here http://pcpartpicker.com/list/XCXGjc I'm hearing a grinding noise very randomly and I don't know if the very quiet clicking is normal and sign of the fan because I can't remember if the sound was there before. Anyways it just really worried me hearing that grinding noise. I noticed when it does make that grinding noise randomly i just pick my computer up when its turned off and move it alittle and turn it back on power it and the noise stops. Except for the very very quiet ticking that you cant hear unless you put your ear up the back of the Powersupply. Thank you for taking the time the read this, all suggestions are greatly appreciated. I hope nothing is wrong.

Solution
Well, yeah. It could have been related to some loose components or screws.
If it starts making these noises again, you can RMA it.

Cheers,
D_Know_WD :)

Thanks D_Know, It seems to have gone away now ever since i picked up the Desktop but if it comes back i may have to RMA. I believe it may have something to do with vibration because when i first got the PSU it didn't make any grinding noise and it only started making that noise when i moved my PC to the livingroom and unscrewed case screws to take a pic of the exposed components. (unplugged and off ofcourse) I sure hope so. Do you think that may have had an effect? Is that a possibility?
