do yall think if i buy this sleeving covers https://mainframecustom.com/shop/cable-sleeving/teleios-cable-sleeving/lc-teleios-gray-25ft/ and custom the default 8 pin cable for gpu would it work? taking out the pin from the conector with this https://mainframecustom.com/shop/cable-sleeving/mainframe-customs-terminal-extractor/ and puting the cover for eacg cable for a nice look , would you recomend this? pros and cons?
i think its a way cheaper than buy a 8 pin mod cable extension for 24.00 dollars

you linked to $21.50 in stuff to avoid a $24 cable!!

not exactly a big difference. you can go either way really, but overall the time you sped manually redoing the cable will eat up the couple bucks you save doing it yourself. unless you just want to do it yourself :) then a couple more dollars is worth it for the enjoyment you'll get out of doing it!!

you have to be sure you keep them in order. each wire carries different volts, +/- and so on.

so ensure you keep them in the right place and it should be fine. i'd move 1 wire at a time. both ends to be sure it goes back right.

messing that up can do all kinds of not-happy stuff to your system!!
