Hi. I am trying to diagnose why my PC will not turn on. Currently, the motherboard LED is blinking when the PSU turns on, but there is no boot.

When I hit the front panel power button right after turning the PSU power on, I briefly see it flash and then nothing happens. I've done this with and without the GPU in the slot. The GPU also lit up for a moment when it was in its slot.

Some other notes: I took the motherboard, RAM, GPU, and CPU from a previous build, so they should all be working. The PSU power cord isn't exactly a perfect fit in the PSU, which I find odd. This was my initial thought as to what the issue.

Please let me know if this sounds like a bad PSU issue and how I can verify this.

PSU is a corsair VS650. Motherboard is ROG STRIX Z370G. RAM is 2x8GB Corsair Dominator DDR4-3000mhz. CPU is Intel i7-8700k. Case is Corsair Carbide Spec-Alpha. SSD is samsung 860 EVO 256gb. I'll leave out the GPU since I'm just trying to boot without it for the moment.

edit: meant z370g not z270g

Sorry that was a typo. I have the Z370G. I've been using the motherboard and cpu for a year with no issue. Unless the motherboard was damaged in my recent move, then I do not believe either part is the issue.
