Since it seemed intermittent before, I think it's the motherboard. Usually if a CPU just shuts down, like black screen, won't come back on, it's done.
Sorry for the late reply, I usually try to leave devices etc off after dinner.
I wasn't asking if the PSU was modular, just trying to search for other possible causes.
I've run into issues if a single cable from the PSU is used to hook up both a 6 pin and an 8 pin connector vs not having issues with using two cables, (1) 6 pin from one cable and an 8 pin from a second cable.
I'd try that 2-cable setup first if it isn't like that already.
Another thing to try would be to try different PCIe cables/alternate sockets on the PSU side.
The 650W unit should be more than enough for your setup. The CPU, unless heavily overclocked, 125w-150w max, the GPU shouldn't see more than 300W max with a very high factory overclock etc, various other system components might account for another 50W-75W, leaving plenty of overhead for delivery from your PSU.

If you do for whatever reason you do go for a new PSU, I'd go for an 850W unit, which would give you room for a 2 GPU system in the future.

It's alright man so about the psu yes the gpu is connected with a single cable from the psu both 6pin and 8pin I haven't tried the second part about using a different cable for the molex I'll try that and let you know. And one more thing the 12v is around 11.76 something and the 5.5v is around 4. Something, and the 3.3v is 3.280 is that normal BTW the 12v voltage is from the bios readings on hwmonitor the 12v reaches around 13.300 but on bios it's 11.7 sometimes 11.6 I know people say the software readings are not accurate just letting you know if it might help sloving.

I've noticed the same about voltages. Even my AIsuite reports different voltages than what cpuz and other programs do.

Definitely try that two separate cables for the PCIe power connectors if you can. See if you can tell how much system memory is being used at times when it shuts off during gaming etc.
