[SOLVED] PSU PCI-E cable connectors question

Hello, so, I have built my PC long ago already and noticed I connected the mentioned cable with it's "secondary" connector to MOBO and want to ask if there is any difference in doing it with main or secondary connectors.
Pic related so you can see what I mean, red arrow shows which connector I used.

Usually the wires to the first connector are wider gauge so it's better to use the first connector.

No, the connector is connected to PCI-E slot on motherboard (like here) from PSU, first connector is free.

In that case it does not matter which one you used as motherboard is drawing nowhere near what GPU does. You are fine as is.

No, the connector is connected to PCI-E slot on motherboard (like here) from PSU, first connector is free.

In that case it doesn't matter wich connector you use. That said; you only have to connect the additional PCI-e connector on the montherboard on a multi GPU setup so probably you don't have to use it at all.
