PSU pigtail cables...

Hi all!

I'm currently planning a build that utilises triple SLI and I wan't to make the cabling look as neat as possible. I know that it's possible to get PSU pigtail cables such as the one shown below that let's you power two cards from one cable:

But I have a couple of questions regarding these:

1. Considering I plan on OC'ing all three cards considerably, is there any power difference when using pigtails as opposed to using individual cables? I.e. Would the same amount of power be supplied to both cards?

2. Providing that there is no power difference, is it possible to buy pigtail cables with 3 x PCIe power connectors? I have only ever seen pigtails with 2 personally?

If the answer to no.2 is 'no', can anyone offer any suggestions as to the best way to make the GPU power cables look neat, bearing in mind the GPU's I have chosen use side mounted connectors:

Cheers guys!

If your going to be overclocking i would stay away. The best way to make it look neat is to individually sleeve each cable and have it curve around straight behind the mobo tray, if you do it right you see hardly any cable and the cable you do see looks nice. If you dont want to sleeve you can buy extensions. Im yet to see one of those cables that actually looks nice anyway

Right, Over clocking = stay away. =) Can I ask why?

I already plan on buying a sleeved cable set for my PSU, and I was thinking about mayber having each cable loop up from the basement of the case? The cable for the top most GPU would be on top with each subsequent cable being lower, if you understand what I mean? I'll probably just have to play around and see what I can do when it comes to building it. =P

Well It's 980's ive planned into the build so individual cables are probably the way to go then. XD Cheers for your help buddy!
