I am ordering a PSU from America that comes with its power cord (of course), and I live in Europe. I saw that american's power cords (male) have 3 pins or 2 thin ones. Where I live we have two pin wall socket only.

I want to ask, can I use my old PSU's cord on the new PSU? Will it make any differences? I really don't think it will, but I just want to make sure I do everything right.

I am ordering from america because where I like everything is overpriced...

That little switch is indicative of an old or very low quality power supply. Anything worth using will not have one and will switch automatically.

The Corsair CX is a very middle of the road quality unit. Not advised for use in higher power gaming builds. Should be fine with a lower end graphics card or integrated graphics though.

I did not know that, lol.
