PSU Rattling and PC shutdown at startup

So for some while ago my PSU began to make this weird rattling sound when it's on: under load, idle, shortly after turning of the computer, you get the point.
Sometimes when i turn on my PC, it will just shut down instantly while booting, like the plug is pulled.

The PSU is a "PC power and cooling Silencer MK II 750W". Though i got the wrong one (ordered MK III but somehow didn't notice until now. Had it for 8 months (thought i ordered a modular PSU and thought i was weird but didn't think more of it at the time.


Is there anything wrong? And could i possibly return it even though i have used it for 8 months or so?

Fan bearings are gone. About shutdown issue, if it it the PSU problem, maybe PSU shuts itself down if fan does not turn (gets stuck).

If it is "rattling" not "cracking/buzzing" sound.
