Question Stain inside Aorus RTX 5080's LCD Screen

Hi people!

A few days ago I received my new Aorus RTX 5080 which has a LCD screen. Today I decided to mount it and noticed that the LCD screen has a stain inside de LCD pannel. It appears to be the glue to attach the pannel to the chasis. Should I call RMA for this? I don't know if it's normal.

I wouldn't RMA the card, at this point...not with limited stock going around. Does the LCD show any other visible discrepancies when powered up...?

Right now I can't tell. I'm trying to secure the GPU to the case but the card is so big that I cannot insert the screws straight. XD

did you remove the foil of the LED panel?

if it´s removed, use a tape to pick up the residue

Yes, it is.

I tried to clean it with isopropyl alcohol and lcd cleaner and nothing, it seems to be inside the panel, here's a photo

Since you have warranty you may consider giving it a month or two until things come back in stock. If you rma now, who knows how long you could be without a card.

Yup, I'll try to contact the store and claim the refund. This is awkward. Honestly, I'll try to avoid this brand for now on.

Gigabyte is a good known brand. You can get defects on electronics from any brand large or small. EVGA was one of the better brands for nvidia cards until they dropped out of that business a few years back and I remember seeing a bad card from them as well.
