Hi All,

I've just got a quick question regarding connecting a GPU to the PSU. Basically, the Seasonic PSU I plan to get only has 8pin PCIE sockets, but my GPU will need one 8pin and one 6pin connector. So, how am I supposed to connect the 6pin cable to the PSU if there are no 6pin sockets? Also, I am planning on replacing the two stock cables with Silverstone Braided cables, these ones:

Thanks in advance.

Solution
no that's why its a 6+2 if you need 8 you use them all if you need 6 you use the 6 and not the 2 just leave them hanging loose, don't hurt nothing it cuts down on them having to add a bunch of unnecessary cords

I emailed Seasonic and they said that the 8pin CPU cable goes into one of the PCIE sockets on this particular power supply.
