PSU still not powerful enough? :|

in reference to this post i made a little bit back

I bought the 1000w EVGA G2 and it runs good for about an hour or so now before freezing. I was wondering if it possible to use the stock ATNG 600w power supply that came with the PC and use the EVGA Detection Tool as the ground connector and run the video card off just the 600w PSU. I have the 600w plugged in with the detection tool but not into any of the computer components as of yet. The 600w does turn on and seems to be functioning fine with the detection tool.

so is it possible to run every but the video card off the 1000w EVGA G2 and the video card off the 600w ATNG with the EVGA detection tool?

moved around the probs during my lunch break to have one on the top of the GPU one on the back of the GPU one under the edge of the heat sink. Removed the damn masking tape that cyberpower put on there and used the thermal tape instead. closed her all back up and am gonna see how she goes. Played for about 10 min during lunch and hit temps around 37 but need to get it to around 44 to really see if its that or not.

It is just really hard for me to pin point exactly what's going on and I don't really want to waste a bunch of money and have it not be what I thought it was D: I am just gonna run some more tests and see what I can figure out before I start buying a bunch of stuff. Cause we know it's an over heating issue but what's over heating D:

Just ran prime95 on my pc and it froze the same way it does in games so I'm thinking the cpu might be the issue

Could be,could be the vrm's that overheat.That's why i asked to take the side panel of and point a fan at it.With watercooling there's often less cooling for the vrm's,air cooling tends to move more air over that.
Does it run prime good when the side panel is taken of?
Tried to undervolt the cpu? Means lessen the Vcore.Can test with prime for stability.

I did try it with the fan pointing at it and still froze but took longer for it to do so. Currently the vcore is set to 1.5125 I also tried running it without the boost setting on in the bios. I have been reading about a lot of people having freezing issues with the fx 9590 and have been trying some of their solutions but no success so far

New thing I'm gonna try disabling C1E and C6 or underclocking to 4ghz

see if you can get the vcore down and still be stable.

Putting it at 4.02ghz made it work fine no freezing without a fan running prime on it now been 10 minutes with no hiccups

What's the Vcore at with this speed?

Still think that's high.I would try to lower that,but keep looking at stability.
