PSU that supports up to 5 HDD

I'm buying a new modular PSU but all i can find only have 3 SATA ports at best. I need around 5 ports because I'm going to setup a RAID system along with some other drives.

Does anyone know a power supply that have more than just 3 SATA ports or is there a way to run multiple drives on just one port?

What are your COMPLETE system specs? It is impossible to recommend a PSU without knowing what kind of load it will need to support.

what kind of PSUs are you looking at?
most PSUs 4-5 SATA connectors per cable...

4 or 5 sata minimum on any decent PSU

You then have the option of single to twin sata connectors or molex to sata connectors

You'll rarely see more than 6 sata on any PSU simply because of the fact just about every board only has 6 sata ports max.

I'm not sure but so far I'm going with:
MB: ASUS Crosshair VI Hero
CPU: Ryzen 7 1700X
GPU: not sure maybe the new Vega or GTX1070
RAM: G.SKILL Flare X Series 16GB (2X8)
PSU: Not sure

Average hard drive is 3w nowadays , no issue at all using a sata power splitter.

That said buy a 'good quality' model in the first place.

usually is. my XFX TS Gold has 2 cables with total 8? 10? SATA connectors.
