[SOLVED] PSU upgrade advice needed for new GPU.

Hey there!
I am looking to get a RTX 2060 in a few days but from what I see i will have to get a new PSU aswell since the PC was a prebuilt with a 1050 Ti.
All I know about this PSU right now is that it's 600W that's it. When I asked the shop they said that for the 2060 i want something from a more well known brand around 550-650 W.
Honestly though their shop doesn't have much to choose from but is my only option.
I have looked at ThermalTake Litepower 550W, Corsair VS550 (orange unit), FSP Hyper 600W and more.
What would you suggest and I can see if the site has it. 😀
I am honestly looking to get the best possible for the lowest price since that 2060 is already making me bleed enough. ( I know you shouldn't cheap out on PSU's )

If you live in the United States, Newegg is offering the M12II 520 for $39 after $20 MIR. They are tough as nails, fully modular, and super affordable at that price. You don't normally see that kind of quality at $40.

From that list I would get the SeaSonic SS- 520GB.
An older model but still high SeaSonic Quality.

I am a bit confused, here. You are in Bulgaria, one of the 28 countries in the EU, and all you have access to for Computer PSUs is the list you provided? WHY? To answer your question. unless your current PSU is a NAME BRAND (EVGA, SeaSonic, Corsair, etc.), REPLACE IT!. The older PSUs, Bronze, White or NR, may just fizzle out, or FZZZZT - Pwahhhh - BOOM, there goes your whole system!! Do they provide power - YES. Heat the house at MAX OUTPUT? YES! Anything else? THHHHBT! I had an Antec VP450 which was actually only rated to 360W on the 12V rail(s), if that gives you an idea of "Advertized Power" vs "Actual Power". For any system, you want to have your idle power consumption exceed 10% OF THE MAX OUTPUT, and your working load and max load fall between 20% and 65% OF THE MAX OUTPUT of the PSU. I'm estimating here...IDLE @50-80W, Working @140-160W and ALL OUT@90W for the CPU, 40W for HDDs, peripherals, etc and 200W for the GPU = 330W. At minimum, a 500W will do, a 550W, 650W or 750W would be better, allowing you in the future to upgrade to two(2) video cards, a faster CPU, more memory, an AIO, perform OverCLOCKING, and install other additional "accessories". Regardless, PSUs have come A LOOOOONNNNG WAY in the last decade. Build Quality, Efficiency and Warranties are WWAAAYYY UP!, not to mention protections! The minimum wage in Bulgaria is something like $320/Month.

They're "buying" an RTX 2060, which retails for €360.00-€420.00 and the "pre-built system" has a 1050Ti. So, I'm presuming that this individual makes more than "minimum wage"! And isn't buying an RTX 2060 without a proper power supply to operate it, a bit like buying a high-end sports car without having the funds to fuel it up? :-O

Yes thats not exactly what I meant. I went on holiday there once friendly people, it's not like the UK or USA though and I'm not surprised that they don't have shops stocked with lots of high end imported electronic components.

these choices arent that good to be paired with a RTX 2060 tbh. Corsair VS series especially the orange labeled ones are bad, FSP hyper arent all that great esp the Hexa ones. you sure you dont have other choices? the only somewhat good thing there is the Seasonic SS but its still on the lower end of the spectrum it would be fine but could be better.
