With the recent announcement of Nvidia's GTX1070 I have been prompted to upgrade my current PC to be able to hold such a beast of a card, to do this I would have to upgrade my case and my Power supply, for the case I have chosen the Fractal Design Core 2300, simply because of its low price but I have been unable to decide on a power supply, I have tried the PSU tier list (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html?572f46de898fc=reload) and to no avail, so I decided to post this thread, I would also like to aim for a tier 2 PSU under £70, but if that is not possible then I suppose tier 3 wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. If there are any other case suggestions those would be welcome as well.
My current PC specs are:
Intel Core i5-3470
Generic UATX/MATX H61 motherboard
8gb of DDR3 1600MHz RAM
Sapphire R7 250 2gb GPU (Upgrading to GTX1070 shortly after launch)
1TB generic HDD
300W generic PSU (hence the upgrade)
HP Pro 3500 tower case (Hence the upgrade)
5.25" Optical Drive
If any more information I will be as helpful as possible.
Thanks in advance.
