Hi all,
New member here with a quick question.
Case
Since last week I can't boot into Windows (10). After the blue on black Windows logo the screen just goes black. The sound crashes as well - as in: it freezes and 'shrieks' on until I turn off the PC. After fooling around for a bit I found out it has to do with my display adapter (HD6870 drivers) turning on. Safe mode boots fine, and as long as the drivers are disabled/uninstalled, the pc runs fine (albeit in a low resolution). A member of a Dutch forum mentioned that it could just be a faulty PSU. However, my knowledge of PSU voltages is limited, and that is where I hope you can help me out.
My questions to you
1. Do the voltage readings below seem fine (SpeedFan 4.52 and BIOS)?
2. Would you recommend to additionally measure the voltage manually with a PSU tester and/or multimeter? I would have to buy either.
3. What other possible causes and solutions can you think of for this problem?

I don't have a problem shelling out for new hardware, but I'd prefer not to replace stuff that is still in working order.
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
