Psu working problem...

I build my new rig. Since some days m facing a problem with my Psu. when i turned on the system Cpu fans spins a little then stops.

System power switch not work..until i remove and replug the power cable...some time its works fine but system shuts off suddenly after 2-3 min without showing any error.

i also checked my psu on my frnds computer. Same trouble continues...what should i do.. what happen to my psu...it ran fine only for 12 days...

Amd FX8350
ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2
Corsair Vengeance 4gbx1 1600mhz
Corsair VS550

If you tried it on a friends computer and had the same issues I would say you got a bad PSU. If you have had it for only 12 days then you should return it for an exchange/refund.

What GPU are you using?

asus hd 5450 2gb..
will upgrade soon...

Well the GPU is not that power consuming, so the PSU is probably defective just as sincreator said.
