Question Psu

Hey guys, just wanna ask is my system to much for a 1000w psu?

• Msi Meg z390 Godlike
• corsair Vengeance rgb pro 32gb
• i5 8600k intel core
• h100i rgb pro platinum cooler
• geforce gtx titan x
• 970 pro evo samsung ssd

I know thats alot of rgb 😂 but any advice would be alright. Do i need a better psu?

nah your system needs like 750w max and that is based on the hardware that will consume the more wattage and that is your video card.

I second @The Paladin's comment.
Quality is also very important when it comes to PSUs. You may have issues with some crappy 800w whereas a great quality 650w may handle your hardware without issue. Also, you never want to continually run your PSU at above 80% of it's max capacity as it may shorten the life of the PSU.

Thank you for the replies, really thought 1000w wasnt enough but the thing that raised my suspicions was that the mobo doesnt power my monitor keyboard and mouse. Nothing lights up like its supposed to but everything in the cpu works but the psu suddenly stops after a few seconds is that normal?
