Hello,
Hello,
I have a Lc-b400atx power supply that I know worked. I connected it to a M7VIG 400 motherboard. There is no slot for the 4-pin (2-yellow & 2-black) connector to plug in. Could this be why the PSU isn't working? I sure would be greatful for any help. Thank you

old motherboards didnt need the extra 4 pin connection because the processors didnt need the extra power

Not having the 4 pin on the psu plugged in would not harm the psu

The most likely cause of problems with that psu is the designer who designed it , the people who put it together and the company that was willing to sell it despite its obvious poor quality
