PUBG Game Keeps Crashing

I've been playing PUBG since it was out and had no problems with the game. There was a September patch and since then, it's hard for me to finish a match without it crashing. My screen goes black and I have to hard reset my computer...

Any ideas? It's getting really frustrating. I did try and mess with the graphics and I discovered that if I went to 720p I could get a few matches in and it wouldn't crash at all. I'm not sure if it's a heat issue because I've loaded the game up and it's crashed within 5 minutes before.

RX 480 8GB
FX 8320 CPU
16GB 1600mhz GSkill Ram
170GB Samsung SSD

well PUBG is still in early stages and is poorly optimized. That stated, I am wondering if your overclocking your cpu?
you could run HWINFO in sensor mode and let it run in background, and you could tell after the game crash if your CPU or GPU has been overheating.

Well I tested BF4 afterward and that crashed too so maybe it is not just PUBG afterall...I will do that and report back.
