Pulling wires out of a keystone jack

Hi all, when you pull out the wires from a keystone jack, can you resuse that keystone jack?

Most of them yes, they are made to be re-usable. I think some may have crimps that get pushed in when you seat the wires but I don't actually remember seeing any of those.

In these situations I say "easier to try and see than ask".

well I did try and that cable doesn't work. I have an extra cat6 keystone jack. can I crimp cat5 wires in that?

Yep, will work just fine.
