I'm looking to by a new copy for a computer I just built, anyone know of any software websites that have exceptionally good offers? I'm pretty set on 64Bit Pro/Ulti, but if the price is right, I would def go with Home premium... :) Thanks

If you are a student, and have a student e mail, Digital River, microsoft software for students.
If not, just check amazon for "builders pack" I bought 64 pro as a student for $40, including the backup disk, from Digital River.
You want 64 bit PRO...that is really the best deal.
WATCH OUT for fake copies of windows 7, there are plenty of them out there. If somebody is offering a big discount (less than $140 for 64 pro, non student discount) you have reason to be suspicious.

Alright, I meant to actually mention I was a student, Univ. of SC, but all they offer are upgrades for 7 (still @ $95). I was sure their had to be some site that had more concern for the college student haha

Yeah I saw that, but I just built this computer so it doesn't have a version of Windows to upgrade from, currently just running Linux Mint 12. All the versions I've tried to torrent and burn so I can just buy a version and upgrade from that freeze up half way through the installation =/
