Purpose of Kuo Toa prince blood

BG2 - SOA: I killed the Kuo Toa prince and he dropped a bottle of blood.
What can be done with it?

It's one of three items that will satisfy the Matron Mother quest in the
Drow city. The others are (I think) mindflayer ichor and beholder
eye. You only need one of these and they do nothing (assuming you don't
have a mod that says otherwise) after the quest is complete.

Although you only need one, you shoould really clear the three areas, There
are lots of good rewards.
