Question PWRCMD rewire

Hello!

My HP ProDesk 400 G5 MT power supply has a PWRCMD 7pin connection, but my other PSU doesn't, can I rewire some wires to replace the 3 connections shown on the picture? My other PSU is Xilence XP500R7 500W.

Prodesk 400 G5 has a 12v only motherboard. You can't power it with a normal ATX PSU like the (horrible) Xilence XP500R7. Horrible because it has terrible voltage regulation, ultra low quality, missing protection features and with 384w @12v it's nowhere near 500w.

What PSU would you recommend for me to install? Planning to install 3060ti in the future.

Best PSU available is a 310w with one 6+2 pin PCIe, HP partnumber SP#HP047. But 310w is on the low side for a system with 3060 Ti. Best you can do is sell this proprietary piece of trash and buy a system that's built with regular ATX specified parts.
