Question Q code 96 on ROG Maximus X hero

Recently built a computer with a Maximus X Hero, intel 9700k, 750 EVGA PSU, gigabyte 2080 OC (open box). It’s been working fine, a couple weeks ago I rebooted it after an update, got no display and a Q CODE 96 with the VGA light on. Turned it off and on, worked like normal. Early this week, updating the Nvidia experience driver I got a critical error when installing and when it rebooted. Code 96 with VGA light. Tried a simple reboot.. nothing... turned off PSU waited a min. Back to normal. Now today happened again when turning my computer on, but this time the reboot or PSU reboot did not fix it. Any ideas?
