Q. PCI Express

Hello, I have this motherboard MSI 0AB8 (http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/?s=msi+0ab8) and I want to put a GT 1030 (https://www.msi.com/Graph/.../GeForce- GT-1030-2G-LP-OC / Overview) my motherboard has just 1 x PCI Express x16 1.0 slot will subtler the card;
I'm just asking because I've seen different comments that say yes she is supposed to say no she will have problems ...

It's such an old tech. Nobody can tell you for sure, if it will work, until you try.
It should work though.

It wont, you need a system with a compatible UEFI BIOS, not a legacy BIOS

how can i see if my motherboard support UEFI BIOS ? cause now i'm with legacy BIOS,

You board wont support a UEFI BIOS, almost nothing is not nothing at all from the Core 2 Era does. Even motherboards based on processors several generations newer have problems running a 10 series GPU since not all motherboards are compatible.

Most likely not, if you already have the GPU you can try a BIOS update and see if it works but I wouldn't count on it.

Well will a graphic card with PCI Express x16 2.0 work on my motherboard?
(forget about PCI Express x16 3.0)

The revision of PCI-Express doesn't matter to much, its whether or not the card supports legacy BIOS's. In general you are safe with anything before the 700 series from nvidia, not sure on the AMD side.
