Would you possible know what voltage would be appropriate for 3.6Ghz? Im very hesitant with voltages since I have no idea where I should draw the line...

I did, I pushed the voltage up to 1.35 and got a stable overclock. I maxed out at 4.05ghz. Memory then became a problem at anything higher than that. It was fun!! SuperPI @ 1M was 13.000s im pretty impressed. Thanks alot for your help. I'm going to get a aftermarket cooler and find a stable but not wild o.c for 24/7.

i had the same problem and i actually lowered the voltage, lowered the multiplier and upgraded mhz i only had 7x multiplier and 425 mhz, got me almost 3ghz, closest i could get w/o ddr3 ram, DONT MESS WITH VOLTAGE, i had a bad experience. with my x38 i got up to 3.8 using 9x with 334 and uped my fsb to 1332 or something like that. still stock voltage stress test and everything

I spoke to one of the most experienced South African Overclockers, SETH, I attended one of our south african overclocking league finals and got some tips from our top guys. They basically told me don't push passed 1.4v if you are beginning. And don't over do anything, after spending time reading up more on forums and getting to know the voltages and what they can do a beginner shouldn't push to hard. Patience, time and knowledge is what makes a successful overclocker, Know your components! Im hoping to attend more of these events and start getting involved in our leagues, South Africa's overclocking community isn't big but it's growing steadily and I hope to introduce a few of my friends to our community.
